In the third session, psychologist Dr. Aline Ghosn spoke about the medical, psychological and spiritual importance of the physical relationship in married life.
This was the third session of the joint marriage preparation course of the Greek Melkite Catholic Diocese of Sidon and Deir El-Qamar and the Maronite Diocese of Sidon, organized by Metanoia Listening Center in cooperation with the Family Committee of the Maronite Diocese of Sidon. It was held on Tuesday 5 May, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm, on Zoom, under the title "The Importance of the Physical Relationship," with Dr. Aline Ghosn, who holds a doctorate in psychology and serves as a psychological expert at the ecclesiastical courts.
Dr. Ghosn spoke about the importance of the physical relationship in married life and shed light on its medical, psychological and spiritual dimensions: sexual difficulties and how they differ between men and women, the conditions for a healthy intimate life, dialogue between spouses about everything, and honesty. She stressed that the act of love with one's spouse is a sacred reality that lives on forever, and that sexuality completes this relationship.
The fourth session, on Thursday evening 7 May, was titled "The Liturgy of the Crowning," with Abbot Semaan Abou Abdo.
