Bishop Elie Haddad spoke to the engaged couples and their parents about the legal dimension of marriage, and the parents shared their experience of married life with their children.
This session of the first marriage preparation course of the Greek Melkite Catholic Diocese of Sidon and Deir El-Qamar, held in the hall of the Church of Saint Joseph in Majdelyoun, was on "The Legal Dimension and the Parents' Visit." The participants and their parents listened to a talk on the legal dimension of marriage by His Excellency Bishop Elie Bechara Haddad. The parents then shared their experiences of married life, gave advice to their children and expressed their love for them. The session ended with prayer. The seventh and final session is on Sunday 10 February 2019 at Metanoia Listening Center, Shrine of Our Lady of Mantara, Maghdouche, from 9:30 am to 4 pm; on this day the engaged couples will read their relationship and live the rite of the vows.
