Psychologist Patricia Barcha Bassil opened the course with a session on resolving conflicts, followed by group exercises and the testimony of a couple from an earlier course.
The first session of the 2019 marriage preparation course of the Greek Melkite Catholic Diocese of Sidon and Deir El-Qamar, held at the Church of Saint Joseph in Majdelyoun, was on "Conflict Resolution." In the first part, the participants listened to a talk on resolving conflicts by Patricia Barcha Bassil. They then divided into two groups, shared their experiences and did exercises on how to resolve conflicts. Afterwards, they listened to the experience of Charbel Saykali and Joyce Bou Rjeily, a couple who had taken part in the first marriage course, and the session ended with prayer. The second session, on Saturday evening 4 May 2019 from 7:00 to 9:30 pm, will be on "The Art of Communication."
