In the final day of the course, couples read their relationship in the light of Christ, listened to Bishop Georges Bacouni on the spirituality of married life, and prayed with Bishop Elie Haddad before reading love letters to each other.
This was the seventh session of the second marriage preparation course of the Greek Melkite Catholic Diocese of Sidon and Deir El-Qamar, held at Metanoia Listening Center at the Shrine of Our Lady of Mantara in Maghdouche. On this day, each couple read their relationship in the light of Christ. Each participant first reflected alone on their relationship with their partner, then the couple exchanged their experiences before sharing them with the other participants. After a break, the participants listened to Bishop Georges Bacouni, who spoke about the spirituality of married life. After lunch, the spiritual time began in the presence of His Excellency Bishop Elie Bechara Haddad, Archbishop of the diocese: the participants prayed together as one community, and then each wrote a love letter to their partner and read it to them in front of everyone.
