Preparing for Christmas, Caritas South and Chouf spent a spiritual day at Metanoia Listening Center with Father Roy Abdallah on "The key to the answers": Holy Scripture.
In preparation for the feast of Christmas, the Caritas family of the South and Chouf gathered at Metanoia Listening Center for a spiritual day.
Father Charles Swaya, chaplain of Caritas, opened the day with morning prayer. This was followed by a talk by Father Roy Abdallah, a Marian monk at the Monastery of Mar Abda in Deir El-Qamar who serves at the Monastery of Christ the King. Father Abdallah is active on social media, where his homilies are awaited by many followers.
The theme of the day was "The key to the answers": every question and every doubt in our lives finds its answer in the book of life, Holy Scripture.
After the talk and a break, the participants divided into circles and shared their questions, then gathered again and Father Roy answered them.
Everyone then had lunch, and the day ended with the Divine Liturgy in the grotto of Our Lady of Mantara in Maghdouche.
