After a forced absence due to the security situation, the Family and Life Committee met at Metanoia Listening Center with Bishop Elie Haddad for a joyful Christmas evening and a personal review of the year.
With the blessing and in the presence of His Excellency Bishop Elie Bechara Haddad, Archbishop of the diocese, the Family and Life Committee gathered at Metanoia Listening Center after a forced absence due to the security situation that struck the region. It was a joyful evening in a Christmas atmosphere, with games and contests inspired by the season; everyone played and competed, and laughter filled the room.
The evening also included a personal pause, in which each person reflected on their journey in the committee over the year – personally, as a couple and as a community – and shared it with the committee.
The Archbishop addressed words of thanks and support to the committee, praising its efforts and work in the diocese and the fruits being harvested, and expressing his support in the hope that it will continue to grow.
To close, a cake was cut and everyone exchanged wishes for the holidays, wishing one another joy, health and peace.
Merry Christmas.
