First Couples Gathering of 2025

With Bishop Elie Haddad present, the diocesan Family Committee and Metanoia celebrated Valentine's Day with a gathering titled "And Love Remains," welcoming newly married couples from the center's marriage preparation courses.

Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency Bishop Elie Bechara Haddad, the diocesan Family Committee and Metanoia Listening Center celebrated Valentine's Day with the first couples gathering of the year, titled "And Love Remains." This gathering was marked by the presence of newly married couples from the diocese who had attended marriage preparation courses at Metanoia Listening Center.

The gathering opened with the life testimony of a couple from the Family Committee about a conflict they had gone through: how they acted during it, what they felt and how they found a solution. The participants then divided into five sharing circles, where they shared their own experiences of similar situations.

The participants then came back together to share about how to preserve love, the importance of practicing the virtues that help love grow, the "viruses" that undermine these virtues, and how to get rid of them.

This was followed by games, with couples playing together amid much laughter.

At the end, everyone gathered around the Archbishop and the newly married couples, wishing them a happy life, and a cake was cut to celebrate them and Valentine's Day.
