As part of its visits to villages and its monthly Mass, the Family and Life Committee of the Greek Melkite Catholic Diocese of Sidon and Deir El-Qamar took part in the Divine Liturgy at the parish of Saint Barbara in Anan. The parish priest, Father George Nemr, welcomed the committee and praised its role in the diocese and in accompanying couples. He invited the families of the parish of Saint Barbara to join the family group in Anan, and in his homily spoke about the role of the family in society: when the family is committed to the Church, society is well.
