The diocesan Family Committee took part in the Divine Liturgy at the parish of Mar Elias in Hassaniyeh, where Father Moussa Francis praised the role of Christian families and of the committee and Metanoia Listening Center.
With the blessing of His Excellency Bishop Elie Bechara Haddad, Archbishop of the diocese, the Family Committee of the Greek Melkite Catholic Diocese of Sidon and Deir El-Qamar took part this Sunday (2 November 2025) in the Divine Liturgy at the parish of Mar Elias Al-Hay in Hassaniyeh. The parish priest, Father Moussa Francis, welcomed the committee members and offered the Liturgy for their intentions and for all families. He thanked the committee for its efforts in the diocese and, in his homily, praised the role of the Christian family in society: a united family raises faithful and good children. He also praised the role of the diocesan Family Committee and Metanoia Listening Center in accompanying families, and encouraged couples to take part in the committee's activities and gatherings because of their benefit to their relationship and growth. He thanked the committee members for joining the Liturgy and invited them to visit again.
