Mgr. Elie Bechara Haddad

archbishop of greek catholic Eparchy of Saida and Deir el KAmar

   Bishop Haddad is one of the Co-founders at Metanoia Center and Head of the Board.
He was born on 1960 in Ablah, Lebanon under the Bekaa Governorate.
   He joined the Basilian Salvatorian Order (Holy Savior Monastery) on 1979.
He was ordained to priesthood on 1986.
He was consecrated as Archbishop of Sidon and Deir El Qamar for the Melkite Greek Catholics on 2007.
   On 31 January 2021, Pope Francis appointed him apostolic administrator of the Melkite Greek Catholic Eparchy of Tyre.
Received PhD degree in Canon and Civil law from the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome in 1994.
   He is a professor at many Lebanese (Saint Joseph University - Beirut, the Holy Spirit University - Kasik, Sagesse University- Beirut), and at the Saint Paul Institute of Theology and Philosophy in Harissa.
   Chief of the Court of Appeals in the Greek Melkite Catholic Church since 1995.

Joseph El-Khoury

   Joseph is one of the Co-Founders and Board Members at Metanoia Center.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the humanitarian, social and spiritual sectors. He has participated in founding several NGOs and Community Projects (Networking).
   Joseph provides Relational counseling and coaching for individuals and groups. He also facilitates workshops and conferences for Couples, Families and ordained persons.
   Joseph has a Master’s degree in Business Computer from the Lebanese University, Beirut, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and Philosophy from Centre Sèvres, Paris, France. He also has a Master’s degree in Sacred Theology, Spiritual Direction Specialty, from the University of Toronto, Regis College.
   Since 2015, in his capacity as General Manager, Joseph is managing the Center, setting plans and strategies and on the same time developing and providing spiritual and social programs to meet Metanoia’s vision.

Patricia Barcha Bassil

   Patricia is one of the Co-founders and Board Members at Metanoia Center.
   She has 3 years of experience in Psychology Counseling and she conducted workshops and facilitated conferences related to wellbeing of families.
   Patricia has a Master’s degree in Psychology from the Lebanese University in Beirut and has undergone various amounts of training.
Currently she is perusing her study for a degree in Systemic Psychotherapy at Tabyeen Institute, Beirut. Expected completion date (2022).
   Patricia is happily married to Maroun Bassil and mother of three children.
